The Calla Poncho , a simple but lovely poncho written by Annie Baker. This asymmetrical poncho is knit using a sport or DK weight yarn. Jazz up your poncho with some stripes! You can choose to use one solid and one variegated or 2 solids or a solid and a gradient yarn. There are many options and the choice is yours!
The Cowl Neck Poncho is the perfect crocheted piece to toss over your leggings and tunic top before heading out to the pumpkin patch.
Join me and Terri at Yarnability on Wednesdays at 10:30am-12:30pm or 6:00pm-8:00pm September 6 through October 4 or Sundays at 1:00pm-3:00pm for this Fall KAL/CAL. Follow the provided itinerary and you’ll be sporting your new poncho just in time to hit the pumpkin patch!
Cost: $45 covers 5 weeks of class when you purchase your project yarn at Yarnability. $60 for the class if you bring your own yarn from stash.
Calla Poncho Yarn: Sport or DK weight. We suggest Bella Cash from Universal, Alden from Tahki yarns, or Mad Hatter from Frabjous Fibers
Needle: US size 6 needle or size to obtain gauge. 24″ circular and 32″ circular
Cowl Neck Poncho Yarn: Worsted weight. We suggest Deluxe Superwash Worsted from Universal in solids or tweed. If you’re a purist, we recommend Shepherd’s Wool worsted weight 100% wool.
