Mosaic Crochet – Christmas in July!

Enjoy one of our 2 hour workshops to learn the basics of overlay mosaic crochet, consisting of single and double crochet stitches.

In this class Julie will teach you:
- overlay mosaic crochet technique
- reading a mosaic crochet chart
- how to secure your ends
Sholach Afghan Materials Needed (must be purchased at Yarnability):
- Afghan Pattern: Sholach Mosaic Christmas Trees available to purchase on Ravelry. Bring your copy of the pattern to class.
- Yarn: 1 skein of Jewelspun by Sirdar and 1 skein of Perfection worsted weight (solid color)
- Hooks: US H (5.0mm) hook
- Notions: locking stitch markers, scissors, darning needle
Mosaic Tree Skirt Materials Needed (must be purchased at Yarnability):
- Tree Skirt Pattern: Mosaic Tree Skirt available to purchase on Ravelry. Bring your copy of the pattern to class.
- Yarn: DK or Worsted weight yarn – at least 2 colors.
- Hooks: US G (4.0mm) for DK or US H (5.0mm) for worsted
- Notions: locking stitch markers, scissors, darning needle
Skills Needed:
- Class participants MUST be able to Independently chain stitch, single crochet, and double crochet.
Each class has a 4 student minimum and a 6 student maximum. If less than 4 students are registered, the class will be cancelled. Store policy for class cancellations is located under Classes FAQ located here
