It’s time for “Socktober”!
Join me on Wednesday mornings or Saturday afternoons to learn how to knit socks! This 3-part class will get you started and finished with a worsted weight sock knitted from the cuff down.
Important Note: This class is for in-person learning at Yarnability. Class participants must wear a facial covering during this class time that covers both their mouth and nose.
Class: Two dates and times offered!
Wednesdays October 7, 14, and 21 at 10:30am to 12:30pm
Saturdays October 10, 17, and 24 at 2:00pm-4:00pm
Class Cost: $45 covers all 3 class meetings. (Only 3 seats available per class date/time)
- If you bring in stash yarn for the project, your class cost is $65

Yarn: 150 grams of worsted weight sock yarn. We suggest Regia 8-Ply sock.
Needles: size US 5
- Needle Suggestion: Beginner knitters working in the round are encouraged to use a 9″ circular or double pointed needles. Magic Loop technique or two circulars can be used if the knitter has experience with these methods. These methods will not be taught during this class.
Pattern: Please bring a copy of the Rye Sock Pattern by Tin Can Knits to class. Pattern is available for free on Ravelry.
Skills Required: Beginner-Intermediate knitting experience. Proficient in knit and purl stitch. Prior experience knitting in the round.
