Learn To Crochet

Crochet students learn to make a foundation chain, create a single crochet, a half double crochet, and a double crochet stitch. Crochet students learn about chain stitches and turning their projects. They will also learn the anatomy of a stitch to create a variety of patterns (i.e. front leg, back leg).

Learn to Crochet is a 2 hour introduction class. The class fee is $25. Students are encouraged to purchase their class supplies Yarnability prior to class. Supplies include: Worsted to Chunky weight smooth yarn and a US size I (5.5mm) hook for worsted weight or US size J (6.0mm) hook for chunky weight.

We offer an optional Learn To Crochet Kit ($30) that includes:

• How to Crochet by Sara Delaney a reference book for new students
• 1 US size I (5.5mm) crochet hook
• 50 grams worsted weight yarn
• Plastic darning needle
• Locking stitch markers

Class Minimum: This class has a 3 student minimum. If there are less than 3 students signed up, Yarnability reserves the right to cancel this class. Students will be notified 48 hours prior to the class date. The students will have the option to reschedule for another class date, use their class fee as store credit, or receive a refund.
