Prior knowledge and skills for mitten knitting is required. Class focus is on fiber prep and insertion of thrums.

Pattern: Thrummed Mittens
Yarn/Fiber:
- 200 yards of Aran weight; Trendsetter Pure Love 1 skein
- 4 oz of wool roving; 1 braid Malabrigo Nube
Needles: Size may vary upon gauge obtained. Pattern notes US 6 knit in the round (DPNS, 9-12″ circular).
Notions: stitch markers, smooth waste yarn, darning needle, scissors
Homework: Cast on and knit ribbed cuff
