Join me at Yarnability to knit the Jay Sweater. This top down, no seaming, colorwork yoke sweater is a great introduction to colorwork garment knitting. The slightly cropped sweater with 3/4 length sleeves is a lightweight, easy to wear garment, perfect for transition to spring weather.
This sweater class with be held as a 4 week knit-along. A syllabus will be provided to students to encourage completion of the sweater over the 4 weeks of the class. Two class dates/times are available:
Wednesdays March 4-25 at 10:30am-12:30pm
Saturdays March 7-28 at 2:00pm-4:00pm
Class: $60 (excluding tax) when you purchase yarn from Yarnability for the project. Class fee increases to $120 if you bring in stash yarn.

Pattern: Jay Sweater on Ravelry. Please bring your own copy of the pattern. Printing in store will cost $3.
Yarn: Kingston Tweed by Universal Yarn. DK weight blend of wool, alpaca, and bamboo
Needles: US 5, 6, and 7. See pattern for details. Needle size may vary based upon the gauge you achieve.
HOMEWORK: Gauge swatch highly recommended for project. Cast on neckline/yoke and work ribbing. Be prepared to start colorwork in class week 1.
