Need a comforting knit project to dive into? The Classic,by Espace Tricot will be your latest go-to sweater.
“Everyone needs the perfect wear-with-anything sweater in their wardrobe, right? The Classic is a variation on our Paloma design which incorporates additional short rows to raise the back neck, omits the ribbing down the outside of the sleeves, and features a slightly longer body and split hem. Like Paloma, this is a straightforward raglan-style sweater with a boxy silhouette. Whether you opt for classic black or something more punchy, the modern yet timeless shape of this sweater will have you reaching for it year after year.” – Espace Tricot
Join me online for a sweater knit-along in February/March. This is a 4 week class meeting online using Zoom. This classic pullover uses a fingering/sock weight yarn held doubled with a mohair/silk lace weight yarn. The combination is luxurious and cozy. If you don’t want to hold yarn doubled, or would like to omit the haze of mohair/silk, opt for a DK weight yarn and still get your new favorite pullover sweater.
Class Fee: $60 when you buy your project yarn at Yarnability. $120 when you use stash yarn.
Class Dates/Times: Wednesdays February 24, March 3, 17, and 24 at 6:00pm-8:00opm
Homework: Gauge swatch. Cast on and work twisted ribbing for the collar.
