Christmas in July Advent KAL

Let’s kick off our Christmas in July with an Advent KAL, and a class deal: Buy the yarn, get the class FREE!

If we work an Advent KAL in July, we can count down the dog days of summer! You will also have a gift completed well before the holidays!

Speltas is an easy, yet fun knit that gives you a little knitting time each day without a huge commitment.

Previously we used this pattern paired with 25 mini skeins. But, you can still get an intriguing project using just three (100 gram) skeins of sock weight yarn, alternating the skeins each day.

Join me on Saturday July 1 at 10am-12pm to kick off our Christmas in July Advent KAL!

Pattern: Speltas Purchase on Ravelry and bring to class.

Yarn:  3 skeins of sock weight yarn (100 grams each) – choose a variety of colors! (Must be purchased at Yarnability.)

Needles:  2 sets of US 5 (3.75mm) circular needles with 24″ or more cable length

Homework:

• Buy your yarn at Yarnability.
• Mark skeins color A, B, C.
• Cast on with color A and knit grain 1
• Work color B for grain 2.
• Class will review construction, stitches on hold, and picking up stitches
