Trunk Show: Stolen Stitches

Join me at Yarnability for a Stolen Stitches trunk show by Carol Feller.

We will highlight a new yarn, NuaThis incredibly delicious sport weight yarn is 60% wool, 20% linen and 20% yak. What a combination! The lightness of the flax combined with the warmth of the wool and the luxury of the yak make this an outstanding blend.

During the trunk show I will have all 4 of the knitted pieces from the Nua collection volume 1 in the shop. Stop by to see the garments completed and to feel the yarn.

There are 4 knit patterns: Ravi Nua Sweater, Dangle Shawl, Boherboy Cowl, and Finglas Mitts. Pattern books will be available to purchase in the shop or via Ravelry.

Buy 2 skeins of Nua and the Finglas Pattern to join me on Sunday October 8 at 1pm-3pm for a FREE class to learn magic loop.

Fifth Sunday: Fiammata
Oct 29 @ 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm
Fifth Sunday: Fiammata

October is a bonus month for learning! In tradition of offering a FREE class on the second Sunday of the month, I’m adding a bonus class on the FIFTH Sunday of the month!

Join me at Yarnability on Sunday, October 29 at 1pm-3pm to knit the Fiammata  Cowl by Heather Zoppetti of Stitch Sprouts. This lovely cowl uses only 1 skein of Yellowstone (DK weight wool/silk blend) in a beautiful array of colors. This yarn offers a nice sheen and lovely drape.

While the pattern on this cowl appears complicated, it isn’t. Heather has created a clever use of slipped stitches to create this lovely texture.

This is a quick project that results in a gorgeous textured cowl. Have you started your holiday knitting yet??

Yarn: 1 skein of Yellowstone

Needles: Us Size 7 (straight or 24″ circular)
